Coupon Clippers Anonymous

By Brent | Oct 21, 2008

I’ve noticed a trend on tv lately. Everywhere from Good Morning America to Oprah I am seeing people talk about how much money you can save by clipping coupons. I’ll admit, I haven’t really done it, yet. After seeing the savings these people are making by just spending a little time, I am ready to get started. I’ve done a little research and CouponMom.com seems to be one of the best sites for finding coupons, free offers, and tips for using coupons. I am anxious to get started saving so much money with coupons, and here are some of my plans for saving money, we’ll see how they work.

1. Get the Sunday Paper, maybe even several copies. There are tons of coupons in there for food I eat.

2. Pay attention to the weekly ads from the grocery stores in my neighborhood. They have lots of sales and coupons.

3. Visit online sites that will allow me to print coupons. Also, visit the sites of the grocery stores in my area to check for new discounts.

4. Plan my meals based on what is on sale that week. I think it will be easier than sorting through tons of coupons and planning based on what coupons I have. I can just bring the coupons from that week and still save some money

If you have any advice or tips on using coupons, please leave a comment, I’d love to hear them.
