You’ve seen the ads all over the internet, but can you really get a free iPod, iPhone, macbook, or gift card? The answer is yes, kinda.
How it works:
Companies pay the company offering the free item a certain amount for every person they get to try one of their products, sign up for a trial or use their service. So in order for you to get the free item, you’ll need to participate in some of these offers and refer some friends (so the program can keep going). Since you’re not actually paying anything for the free gift, it is in fact free, but you usually end up paying small amounts for shipping or other fees related to the offers.
How to Get Free Stuff:
1. Sign up for a free e-mail address at hotmail or yahoo or another site where you can keep all the offers together and not have to worry about them clogging your regular inbox.
2. Enter your newly created email address and any other required information on the first page of the offer site.
3. When you’ve been given access to the site, take a look at the offers that they require you to complete so that you know what will be required of you. Before you complete any offers, know the requirements. If you don’t think you can complete them, then don’t start, and see if you can find another free item that you can meet the requirements on.
4. After you’ve found an offer that you are capable of meeting the requirements on, start working on the offers. Read the offer requirements closely and make note of which offers you’re using. Keep all the emails related to any offers you do in case you aren’t properly credited with completing the offer. Also, make sure you note whether or not you need to cancel anything.
5. CANCEL any offers that you don’t want to keep. If you forget, you’ll pay a lot more for that free gift than you thought.
6. Refer any friends that are required of you. Many of these programs require you to refer some friends in order to get the free gift. I find the easiest way to get your friends to agree is to help them do it. Offer to help them get an item free also. They are more likely to do it if they know they have help. Also, make sure you know whether your friends need to complete any offers. If they do, make sure they do, and even help them find one that is free so that you’re sure to get credit for them
7. Wait patiently for your free gift and enjoy it when it arrives!
