Paid Surveys have become very common and very profitable in recent years. It can be a good money making opportunity if you're patient and diligent in it. Don't give up if you don't get any high dollar surveys right away. They will come, in time. Many survey sites offer up to $150 an hour for surveys, focus groups, product testing and more. Here are some of the lessons that I have learned about paid surveys.
1. Use a separate email address- Sign up for a new email address at yahoo, hotmail, gmail or something like those. You will get tons of emails related to surveys and don't want those getting mixed up in your personal mail
2. Sign up for as many survey sites as you possibly can- Even if you only join one directory site, you should sign-up for all the sites that they have listed. This will give you more surveys to to take and provide you with more opportunities to make some extra money.
3. You don't have to take every single survey- You will get a lot of surveys in your inbox every day and you need to learn that you don't need to take them all. I think that its a good idea to take as many as you can, but soon you will be getting so many that you will need to pick and choose which ones you take.
4. Keep your profile at each of the sites up to date- This will ensure that the survey site has the most accurate information about you and can send you the surveys that are best suited for you. You may want to keep a list of all the survey sites that you sign up for and update each of them once a month or so.
5. Be patient- it can take some time for the big dollar surveys or the prizes to come in. If you keep on taking them, they will come. You will get some big surveys and eventually you'll win some prizes.
6. Payouts take a while- If you need cash right away, surveys may not be the best idea. It can take a month or two for the check to come in the mail.
